I can see progress. We aren't ever going to be 1970 Brazil but we do look more cohesive and confident in attack. Even the United game the first half was ok. That said he needs to start playing Bolasie and Lookman or Vlasic and not fall into the one winger trap of our previous two managers. Hopefully a real left back will be signed to allow it

What do people expect?

They're a good side and we've just gave them a competitive game. We're in the top half which is alright considering the start to our season and we've just signed a striker. We may as well just see if we can finish top 8.

Never a pen but I felt we controlled the game played the better Football plus big call to take Rooney off who was having an off night but Lookman changed the game tho we never used him again.

Niasse sub for Calvert-Lewin cost us a extra height in the box plus Pickford’s 1st mistake which didn’t help us.

Niasse and Tom Davies shouldn’t be getting near the first team they are seriously out of form.

A 27m striker wouldn’t helped rather then let him do a tour of London for 2 days just knocking about Camden like (Everton That)

I hope we address all our problems in this window so we can blood them in but I fear for Sam with the next couple of fixtures added to West Brom, Bournemouth and United results.

Better than what we've got / what we're getting for the money we've spunked ?

I really don't think that's too much to ask.

Really want to to blame him tonight. But that would be pointless.

We haven't performed in key moments for 25 years and that didn't change tonight. This problem runs deep and to the heart of the club. A complete overhaul needed and that's right up to the board room level.
This is it in a nutshell. We need the following at a minimum:-
  • A new CEO
  • An overhaul of the board
  • A complete overhaul of our technical/scouting department including the sacking of Walsh.
  • A clear strategy of how we are going to play as a football club.
  • A new manager in the summer who can build a team around young players and attacking football.

Should see all those happening at Everton by 2050 then...

Gave them a game because they were missing their best players. We're a joke of a club with a joke of a manager. Fingers crossed on the top 8, we might finish above the mighty Burnley.

I think the last 2 games truely expose the flaw tactics we saw at West Brom and Bournemouth, we can actually play Football against big teams and looking back, I’m sure big Sam regret being so negative, and the criticism thrown at him is justifiable.

We've sold our best players and signed very poor players which is nothing to do with Allardyce.

Other than Pickford every expensive signing we've signed over the past 2 years has been a flop. You can't blame someone who wasn't here when they were signed.

I'm not blaming Allardyce mate, he's merely symptomatic of everything that's wrong with this club at the moment.

The club is rotten from the top down and has been for a couple of decades.
