Not too worried about today. Better teams than us have been and will be battered by spurs at Wembley. We know our issues and I think they'll be addressed in the rest of January.
Our hardest part of the season is officially over now. We've played all of the big 6 away apart from Arsenal, and only have City and Liverpool left to play at home. For the rest of the season I expect us to get comfortably enough points with the likes of Bolasie, Coleman and McCarthy gradually playing themselves into fitness ready for next year, while Tosun beds in and scores 5 or 6 too. Important we win two or three games early on in the run so we don't get too panicky, but we'll be fine.
As for Allardyce's record, I think if you averaged out the games/points we've picked up since he's arrived, we have done absolutely fine. Bournemouth aside, the games we've lost have been ones you'd kind of expect: Spurs and United, plus the Liverpool cup game.
I'm not advocating that he has the job long term, but I think we all underestimate just how broken this squad is. We are horrifically imbalance, with nowhere near enough pace and, pre-January, no high quality attacking threat. Injuries haven't helped either.
We will be fine, if unexciting. Roll on next season.
