Deffo get rid of Walsh.

This man’s influence is taking us in one direction only.......down.

Arteta an interesting shout.

Arteta - ignoring his snideness when playing against us after leaving, knows the club, knows the City/fans, is very highly rated by pretty much the top managers in the game who all wanted to get him onto the coaching staff at their teams. Is the type of player/coach who would be progressive rather than stuck in the past.

Could do a lot worse than bringing someone like that in with the idea of him stepping up after being understudy for a few years for a similar like minded manager.

Yes, I am very open to the idea of Arteta as manager.

Probably more for the future though.

This place pitches more from one side to the other than a fishing boat in a hurricane.

He wasn't a god in the first few matches that we were unbeaten and he hasn't suddenly turned into the worst manager in the world. Bar from Bournemouth as the Mosh would say the results have been as expected. We just need to find a way to beat the teams that we should beat and hope that next year they show that they are actually worth the money we paid out. No way we should be getting thrashed by Spurs after spending 200 odd million in the last few seasons.

I completely agree with what Allardyce said about the team being unprofessional yesterday.

It's easy to throw criticism at Allardyce for yesterday, but we have far too many cowards in that squad who down tools at the first sign of trouble and some of them have done so consistently since as far back as Martinez.
A lot of them are losers mate.

Actual losers.

Lets just look at what Moshiri has done with regards to appointing staff at this club shall we.

He poached Koeman, at the time the best manager in the league outside the top 5, he was being linked as the next Arse manager, he was on Barca's short list to be their next manager, regarded by all in the game as a great appointment by us and a coup to get him.

He poached Walsh from Leicester, highly regarded scout, he acquired players at Leicester that won them the league, he was vital to their success.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but Moshiri's intent is clear to see, he aims to get us the best that is available.

He pursued Silva at Watford to point of nearly getting reported to the Premier League for it, he never wanted Allardyce but we needed someone in, so he gives him the shortest contract I've ever seen a Everton manager get in the last 30 years, learning his lesson from Koeman and keeping his options well and truly open to getting a better manager in the summer.

Moshiri has been unlucky, he went for the top people available in the game to run his club and it's not turned out to fulfil the promise it had on paper.

Am I the only one on here that can see this?
We’re not talking about hindsight though are we. There were plenty of people on this sight who warned about appointing Koeman based on his long term track record, his history of falling out with players, his reluctance to use young players. All of these points were made before he appointed Koeman. Similarly with Walsh who had no track record as a DOF.

I’d say there’s a good argument to be made that Moshiri only looks at the current flavour of the month, has no idea of how to run a football club and makes knee jerk decisions.

I'd wait until the end of the season before writing Silva off completely, but I still think that Sanchez Flores is the better option.

Allardyce has to go in May. It was worth getting him in rather than allowing Unsworth to drift into a proper relegation battle, but he has nothing to offer beyond what we've already seen.

Well I don't think I've ever heard such a negative disappointing remark from an Everton manager as that 'More Boring' comment from Sam there so well done to him for that I think it beats the 'Knife to a gunfight' one that.

Including our big lovely cuddly club captain, who's stepped back into the team just as we've started leaking bucketloads again, oddly enough.
I really don’t rate Williams but saying that our Best Central defensive partnership has been him and Holgate. I find it puzzling why Allardyce broke that up.
