Well, Im afraid things have gone wrong for BFS. Winless in the past 6 games, a bad stretch after a good start.

He now has quite possibly the easiest schedule to finish the season with, with only 3 games against the top 6 in the remaining 15. Considering we are still only 7 pints out of 7th if he doesnt get 7th this season I think hes canned in the summer.

If there are any sam supporters amongst us still, just think about the games he has managed us so far.

Newcastle A they hit the woodwork twice before we scored, also they were very low on confidence at the time.

West Brom A they missed 2 open goals, also low on confidence

Swansea H went 1-0 down took a penalty to get back in it, low on confidence

Bournemouth A awful
Man U H see above
Chelsea H worked well as defensive unit
Liverpool A. Got out of jail on that one.

Out of all them games we have not had 10 shots in total, I now it’s a results business, but it is also an entertainment one as well.

Hands up if you are looking forward to next week, West Brom.

It has 0-0 written all over it

I was in favour of him coming in to save us from a relegation battle. I think he will keep us up so stand by my opinion he was the right man for the job at the time.

What I was also hoping was that after an initial good run of form, he'd show us that he had more to his skillset than just get us to 40 points. The games against West Brom and Bournemouth suggest otherwise and his cautious mentality in other games when he could have showed more attacking intent say that too.

He has players like Lookman and Vlasic at his disposal yet he never wants to give them a proper chance. For me, he needs to be replaced at the end of the season unless he brings in some quality additions and get us on a run of form that is comparable to a top 5/6 side which I think we all know won't happen.

I think using us losing to Spurs as a stick to beat him with is unfair in isolation, but the criticism is valid in the way he sets us out cautious from the off and we still get hammered 4-0. I'd rather we had gone at them with players like Lookman and Vlasic and got beat 4-0 but actually created some chances and given us fans something to actually take positives from.

Those two games against Baggies and Bournemouth.

That was when the mist cleared and those of us whom wished him well and hoped against hope he would seize his opportunity with us were given the reality check of what Life with Sam is all about.

:coffee:

It could easily turn into Sunderland or Villa. I look at that squad and think to myself who would anyone actually buy off us for decent money. We've sold our best players and replaced them with a bunch that clearly aren't up to it. That's exactly the road Villa went down, they also threw the youngsters under the bus.

It's really crunch time over the next six months. Can we recruit a manage to take us forward for the next 4/5 years or are we going to start flirting with relegation on a regular basis? That's how desperate this is.

To me, this has ASTON VILLA written all over it in big bold letters.

Can any manager win, with a squard that has no striker, and the left side that is wide open.

I just don't see how it can be done.

The owner is clueless. The whole season and his management, clearly prove it.

What a cirkus
