And yet people still think we are not in trouble and indeed never were.

We are awful, the players are taking the absolute pish and we are pointing fingers all over the place except where they need pointing, on the pitch.

Martinez, Koeman, Allardyce, Loew, Guardiola, Rinus bloody Michels, it does not matter one jot who is in charge if the players are not capable of passing and moving into space to offer an option. This is basic schoolboy stuff and they just do not do it.

I had my reservations when Martinez was here and the players kept making stupid mistakes and everyone was blaming the manager because he was "telling them to pass out from the back etc". I am pretty sure he did not mean lose the ball in a stupid position and make as many errors as you want. The players should be capable of getting rid as and when required and stuff like that should not need coaching.

In short, our players are imbeciles. People need to just watch us (boring I know...) and look at the complete lack of movement. Even on stuff like throw ins, we tend to give most of them back to the opposition as we seemingly cant move 5 yards to make some space.

Genuinely I would keep about 3 of them. They are pathetic.

100% correct.

Whoever is in charge next season needs to ship 80% of the squad and spend another £200mill.

Koeman absolutely dismantled that squad like he was on commission

To be honest does anyone really know what the answer is any more? Martinez went rubbish, Koeman went rubbish, Unsworth couldn’t inspire anything, now Allardyce after an ok start has reverted to the norm. Since the end of the 13/14 season no one can inspire any sort of sustained form above lower mid table. The players come and go, managers come and go, whatever the combo we’re always crap. There is a systemic rotten core at the club that needs to be eliminated.

In the middle of the rotten core, you normally find a worm that`s caused the rot and that worm is Kenwright.

As long as he clings on, with his dewey eyed sentimentality, the club will always be small time, also rans.

There needs to be a complete root and branch clear put of the club, from top to bottom, starting with Kenwright and Elstone, then working downwards through the management / coaching / playing staff.

Meanwhile in the real world ......

Yup, desperately need a playmaker.

We played Rooney there for 2 games - he was MoM in both. Allardyce said it was obviously his position now. Then stopped playing him there and we are back to being useless.

He's also missed two games over Xmas.

Im in the minority that says he's pushed him a bit more forward to add to our "attack" recently but he's still in that CM role.

The whole midfield is a mess to be honest.

Apples and pears to an extent.

When Unsworth came in we were in the bottom three and with our confidence on the floor. When Allardyce came in we were within a win of the top half of the table and that provided the base for the initial run of acceptable results. Not to mention that Allardyce has had what Unsworth was never afforded: a FT position and the respect and focus from players attendant with that.

Was Unsworth the answer or a better bet to improve us more than Allardyce? Maybe, maybe not. But I doubt we'd be that worse off now if he'd been promoted to a FT role back in October. The style of football would have been more palatable and getting shut this summer to install a new manager less expensive.

20 goals conceded in 7 games under unsworth arguably won 2, drew 1 (and we were lucky to get that against a team routed to the bottom of the leauge), lost 5 (we were embarrassed in 4 of them). 1 clean sheet (which had a massive helping hand from allerdyce) apart from that we were conceding a minimum of 2 goals a game against average sides. Chelsea was the best side we played under unsworth and that was in the leauge cup and they had the c team out.

Let's have it right unsworth was bloody terrible for us and would of taken us down. He literally had one of the worst styles of play I have ever seen at everton. He knew he was out of his dept, in interviews he was practically begging the board to bring someone in at the end.

This isnt me putting a spin on it, this isnt apples and pears, these are facts

Moved us 5 places up the league in the short period in charge.

Are you sure?

I take it you're doing your usual thing of just ignoring all the facts then.

I take it you're including the west ham match in that then? We all know that was more of allerdyces win then unsworths.

In answer to your question, yes I am sure. Very much so in fact. You cant conceded two goals a game and stay up in this leauge again that is a fact.

I think he’ll be given another season to keep us up. We are a long way off being out the mire. The rot is a long way off being removed.
