Hard watching Liverpool here. Destroying the leagues best team and we literally can't can't even play half decent against the bottom teams. We are so [Poor language removed] la

Same here, mate. It's soul destroying. What was going through his head when he said that? We will never ever amount to anything with him in charge. How could people think otherwise?
I don't think we'll amount to anything with a lot of people at this club still here.

Why is Kenwright, Woods and Elstone still here? It boils my blood that them leeches are still hanging on to the club. Just GET OUT.

They have presided over the worst period in the club's history, yet still won't leave. I absolutely hate them.

It all boils down to Kenwright being allowed to lower our expectations, that is why we accept people like Fat Sam as the manager.

The only problem I have with 'it's the players' position here is that we have replaced almost literally all of them since Martinez came in. This isn't some 'old guard' that we need to move on, we've brought in like 17 players since Koeman came in 18 months ago.

That being said, the players are pathetic as well.

They either aren't good enough, gutless or aren't being used correctly in a system that works it's a combination of all three.

Those two games against Baggies and Bournemouth.

That was when the mist cleared and those of us whom wished him well and hoped against hope he would seize his opportunity with us were given the reality check of what Life with Sam is all about.

Maybe, but you also have to account for the fact that this team is an embarrassment to the club away from home and has been way before Allardyce got here. So those expecting us to go to places like that and put in good performances and get 4-6 points were deluding themselves. We should have been capable of getting 2 draws, or at least 1 win out of them though.

Especially when there best players were probably players we could afford and attract, it just shows even more how we waste our money.

I don't know how they've got away with it. When you consider our status in 1987 to where we are now it's nothing short of a complete and utter disaster. The worst part is as you say: they've got away with it.

The club's social media pages will be absolutely creaming themselves next week if we beat West Brom. Like it's the pinnacle of what we can achieve. Expectations have been lowered so much.

I mean the teams that are doing well in the league defend from the top, press and have some sembalance of urgency in their play when they gain possession.

But I’m sure Sam is absolutely onto something by doing the exact opposite of this

I think we should all reflect on what happened to Nottingham Forest dropping out of the top flight, because I can see that's where we're headed.
Still no left back or any left sided defensive player, 2 weeks into the transfer window, with a billionaire on the board, this is a joke.

Have you forgotten why they are top of the top 6 league but still miles off top in the top 20 league?
