No Baines tomorrow.
..I don’t think there was ever a chance he’d be fit in a week from the way he left the field at Southampton. Looked a proper calf injury, I would think he’ll miss a few games.

No Baines tomorrow.
I thought he was quite humble about the fact that he's getting called all sorts of names and fans saying his football is crap etc. He acknowledged the fans and said that he'll win them over by winning games and later on he said I want to play a winning brand of football at Everton. That's fine by me, he's acknowledged the expectations and intends to get us up the table. Actions speak louder than words though but regarding what he said I don't think he said a thing wrong.SA on winning over fans: "Everyone has to win over the fans. Whatever perception people have about me I can do nothing about."
His face at this point said it all, he literally doesn't give two toss what we think about him, his coaching team or our brand of football.
6 weeks out I read somewhere...I don’t think there was ever a chance he’d be fit in a week from the way he left the field at Southampton. Looked a proper calf injury, I would think he’ll miss a few games.
Claiming recruitment has always been a strong point of his, I beg to differ

A lot of dross there
Thank godNo Baines tomorrow.
I think we may see a new Sam Allardyce, I'm not sure whether this is a good thing or not
I think he is always looking for an edge, which is something we could really do with at this moment in time!..he was actually quite innovative bringing analytics and science into the game many years ago. I think he’ll have a tried and tested process in place, which is why he wants specific people around him. Like many senior managers in every industry, you’re only as good as the people who work for you.
I agree that he might just enjoy this Indian Summer of his career. I just hope we do as well.
