his tactics contradict himself.

He wants us to keep it tight and win back possession but he keeps playing Schneiderlin who is the worst of all our midfielders in winning possession.

He wants us to play better football and yet he keeps telling our back 4 to hoof it under little pressure.

He wants us to counter attack and he plays Rooney at an advance role to slow things down inevitably.

He wants us to have pace going forward but he pulls both winger deep to sit alongside our wingbacks

He wants people to run with the ball and create danger but he keeps Lookman on the bench

Non of our front 4 is good at receiving long balls and yet we hoof it most of the time.

In short, he had no idea how to bring the best out of our current players. The longer he stays, the more difficult a new manager comes in and change the negative mindset of our players.

I can’t tolerate another season of the same.

Who do you play to win the ball back? Gana? Fine. But who do you play with him? His positional sense is awful as he chases the ball. Davies? Besic?

As for Lookman...we really think he's the "one" key player we really need to make a change? 3 managers don't want to throw him in the deep end.

We can't play counter attack and has only played Rooney advanced in one game. The rest he's been deeper, Ill, or on the bench. This was prior to having a striker and he's still our top goalscorer.

Koeman played the exact same tactics from the back as Sam. It's why he bought Williams to replace Stones and cracked jokes about passing out the back.

People keep looking for ways Sam can get the best out the team yet there's no real answers.

I haven't even rules out that he wants to be sacked mate, was retired, came out for one last payday, does four months gets sacked with eighteen months pay, worth nine million quid... Nice retirement fund and only interrupted his holidays by four months?
Could be. If I was wanting that in his position I'd keep going public saying that the players were useless at retaining possession....the rest will take care of itself.

As bad as the worst period under Smith....and I never thought I'd ever say that.
Yep,and to think this squad has cost hundreds of millions to put together and if they don't get their act together soon this team might not even match the achievement that Smith had of keeping this club in the top league.

We'll scramble over the finish line (hopefully) and he'll leave in the summer. He's not capable of taking us or any club to the next level... he's a survival specialist and nothing more.
