Indeed. Sam Allardyce is about as grim as you can get for an Everton manager. But it's not his fault he selects a side and they instantly look like a gang of strangers who have never played football before as soon as they touch the grass.

This is too common an occurrence for it to be purely down to the managers, although they don't seem to help themselves I admit, the club just feels rotten to the core for me at the moment.

This.

Three managers this season, and not one of them has managed to change our fortunes.

Sometime soon the penny is going to drop that maybe, just maybe, the gang of mercenaries we have at our club are happy to pick up their wedge every month, but do absolutely naff all to earn it.

PS

Currently watching Swansea, bottom of the league, having ago, playing with passion and ( as i type) beating the RS.

We've spent all that money though mate, and we're still as gash as we've ever been. 6 pts above the relegation places is an absolute joke after spending £240m.

Happily except this point with couple matches to go, however plenty of points to go for and many already waving the white flag screaming and stamping their feet of entitlement, absolute gift to every opposing team we are up against.

Nonsense.

The point is there is quality and experience throughout the side.

The point is, if you look at Everton's squad objectively - there's no chance you can consider it;

That is why despite being grim, we're 2 wins from our "magnificent 7th".

And 2 defeats from a relegation battle.

We have a squad that's better than relegation to be fair

It's only 10th-7th calibre like, but that's better than the bottom three

If we start playing an actual left back and the other players start playing to their level, then relegation shouldn't be an issue

The problem is that they aren't doing that, hence why we're in the mess we're in

First we have to buy one

Well we're not as bad on paper as the promoted sides or Swansea, but as an actual functioning team, I'd argue we're no better than any of them at all. And this has actually been the case ALL season, despite what people want you to think.

Who have just beaten RS.

It's almost as if the players have taken their lead from the the Boards lack of confidence shown in Sam (18 month Contract that some fans have been saying is effectively 6 months from day one) and are free-wheeling until the next manager comes in.

That will be the 3rd manager this season they have downed tools on.
