Back in the real world we offer a top 10 in the world salary plus substantial funds to correct the current issues and play in the most high profile, richest league in the world. There are literally hundreds of candidates if only we open our eyes wide enough.

I'd be amazed if a Fonseca/Favre type isn't lined up for the summer but knowing Everton maybe not. The next appointment will certainly set the tone of our clout and ambition though.

Okay except one wee item there are not hundreds of candidates, imagine sorting out the applicationslol.

He doesn`t want to get them playing, all he wants is to play each game for a draw.

Even if watching makes your eyes bleed, this is irrelevant, as long as the objective of one point is achieved.

This isn`t going to change at any point for the rest of the season.

Come on mate that's nonsense

He evidently isn't happy with how we're playing ffs

The issue is he probably isn't capable of changing it

It`s not though is it ?

He sets the team up as best as he can, with a game plan not to concede, winning comes secondary.

That comes first and foremost before every thing else, including playing any form of recognisable football, other than hoofing it.

He`s the footballing equivalent of the Anti Christ.

But we've had no form of recognisable football all season

The problem he has is what Unsworth had and also the likes of Moyes at Utd - the players know he's limited and dont buy into him. Lets be honest if Simeone or someone like Tuchel/Fonesca came in tomorrow even our somewhat limited squad would suddenly do enough to scrape 7th (with a new LB and CB helping that).

Not sure what all the fuss is about after the season we have had thus far, we are 2 places behind Arsenal, one place is occupied by a recent premiere league champion, and the other is Burnley managed by Dyche, had he got the job probably the only manager who would have equalled the snide Allardyce is currently getting. It's not the board the management even the squad, it's totally unrealistic expectations we the fan base have, it's now parody..

I think £240m spent in nearly a couple of years might have something to do with expectations being higher amongst fans than is the norm mate.

I don't feel it's an unrealistic expectation for our players to be able to pass the ball to each other and to move towards the oppositions goal into positions where they can receive the ball.
