There's enough Irish supporters on here who would gladly translate as gaeilge for Roberto .... Robertos Irish Army ... Alive and well

Yer must be rubbish like that Pogba lad.

Pogba is class - Man Utd did not want to sell him, he refused to sign a contract extension. If he was good like Pogba, they would get rid of him. Has he refused to sign a contract at man utd?

Can't believe all the negative comments about the lad, he is 18 years old who decided not to renew his contract at United, i heard alot of promising things about him mainly from the Irish media when he represented the youth teams, as for his poor record at Carlisle, Warnock didn't think Barkley could handle championship football for Leeds imagine how phyical the 2nd division would be for a young fella.

So, we have paid nothing (low wages aside) for a player we on here know nothing about? I guess somebody knows enough to try to see what we can make of him completely risk free.
I remember feeling underwhelmed by signing Stones...luckily for Everton I have no say in these matters.
@maccavennie thx for the info.

The lad is class lads. I was fortunate enough to see all his games on loan and that 1 goal in 13 games is very deceiving. He scored 14 goals which were offside, hit the bar 9 times, hit the post 17 times, created 56 chances, had 11 assists, got man of the match in all 13 games and had the best song ever which was

Utd didn't let him go, he ran his contract down as he fell out with Moyes ( it was him who slapped Moyes in Clitheroe ) and didn't like the smell of Van Gaals breath when he introduced himself to the Utd squad. If Utd had tied him down to a contract he would be going for 13-15m easy. Wolves offered 9.8m last season.

Masterstroke from Bobby if you ask me and you can vault me when he comes prolific for us.

Wolves, who were league two then, offered 9.8million? not a chance
and even if they did, do you think united would have turned that down when he had 1 year left?

why do you make things up mate, its not school anymore fella

I've no idea about his contract situation bud, I'd not heard of him until today. My point is being released by Man United doesn't mean he's no good, especially at a time when they are between managers. The decision has obviously been made by Nicky Butt or one of the other youth/academy coaches. You could argue that the guys in the equivalent departments at Everton have better expertise in this area than those at United at the moment, at worse he will replace Vellios in the 21's squad and allow Hope and Long to get out on loan again.

Sorry but this is rubbish, No league one club would offer 9 million for a player.

And your story's proven false by the Moyers part:
Because this is the guy in the altercation

And last but not least van gael hasn't even met the United squad yet because he's been with the Dutch squad since he signed the contract.

Jesus mate of course I was bloody joking. The lad who slapped Moyes was Byrnes' brother.
