This just seems a 6/12 month option for me. It is hardly Fabian delph and khedira was ten times the player delph ever was. If he’s half the player he was, and he’s fit 50% of the time, he walks into our midfield. Honestly after watching Tom Davies play that role, this fella will look like he’s back to his best as a comparison. The difference in quality is vast. I honestly believe james is a shadow of the player he was at his peak. Yet he still appears to have time on the ball. Khedira will be the same, our problem for me is our inability to keep the ball. I’ve never seen a team give the ball away so much. We just need players who can keep hold of it under pressure as 80% of teams in the premier league press you like never before. If we can get 6/7 games out of him this season then it’s worth it.

His contract is up in the Summer but Juventus have said they would be willing to terminate the remainder of his contract and let him go on a free transfer this window. So the only way we get to look at him is if we signed him on a contract till the end of the season and see how it goes, there lies the problem, I couldn't see him going for that.
