This for me. Why sign someone like him in the summer then sell him 6/7 months later? His influence and experience of winning at the highest level is worth his wages on its own if you ask me.

A return Italy is looking more and more likely for Samuel Eto'o. The Everton striker has during the past few hours rejected an offer of € 5 million over two seasons from the Brazilian outfit Santos because he only wants Sampdoria.

The parties continue to speak over the phone and seem to be getting closer and closer by the minute as the Serie A prepares to welcome the Cameroonian striker back.

To be honest I'm not fecked what Eto'o gets out of this if he wants to leave or we want him out fine.

I am however interested if we'll be receiving any fee for a player who's got 18 months left on his current contract. Although I'm starting to question whether it was actually a 2 year deal as originally stated.
