Gonna be honest here lads, even if he's not a good influence I wouldn't mind getting shut of him. I'm not one to believe all these rumours of a dressing room split, but other than that game against Burnley and arguably the away game at Krasnodar, I have not seen nearly enough of 'Sammy Etts' to suggest that he should be on the reported 70-80k a week he's on. If we can get any sort of fee for him at his age, baring in mind he's 3rd choice striker and 3rd choice behind the striker, I'd much rather try and get some sort of winger in on loan and give Mirallas a new contract with the freed up wages (obviously not all of it but you get the gist).
 

I will be fuming if he goes. He has been played in midfield not his fault. When he played in his actual position he scored. It's not difficult..main reason i'm fuming at Martainz tbh..

Perhaps he wanted to play in midfield, at least in the #10 position - isn't it something he did in Russia? He has scored 4 goals for us iirc 2 (Krasnodar and 1st Burnley one) have been from that position.

Agree playing him on the wing was daft.

Yes mate. Totally agree.

If a player's causing murder at training every day, is desperate for a move and is one of the biggest earners at the club despite playing 15 minutes a week you'd be mad to sell him!
