Back on topic I will be very disappointed if he goes. Less because of the player because he actually has not been used THAT much but because the chopping and changing sums up our season and is just carrying on even when there has been a few signs of green shoots recently. He has spent more time arguing with refs recently than playing well. This season is so far off what we expected. Grrrr. One bad performance in Bern or bad luck from ref of which we have had plenty and it's excitement over for this year apart from Derby and Man U at home. I really want him to help us in European matches and would loved to have seen one decent goal celebration in front of me in the St End.

It is a shame to see him go but we really don't need him. It is time to play Barkley in the No 10 position behind Lukaku. Move mountains to keep Mirellas, give McGeady a run on the wing. If McGeady does not measure up bring in a winger to balance the side. Time to build a team not just buy players.

Fair comment that, Everton is a club and a team, not just one big name.
Whilst sadly gone are the days of the Golden Vision, the Holy Trinity - look at how good the mid 80's teams were, all very good players, no standout superstar... we were a team !!

Its Everton mate lol,if we needed 3 players,we would sell 4,meaning in total we need 7,then only go and get 2 for example.seemed a lot better for us from the bench,but been brilliant knowing we had a player like ETO'O at Everton
