"The title's not yours,Oh Steven Gerrard, the title's not yours"or something much better to commemorate the me laaaaa's last game at the Old Ladylol
You slipped on your arse, you slipped on your arse etc. etc.
I like yours better to be fair mate but just felt like putting it out there.
Back on topic I will be very disappointed if he goes. Less because of the player because he actually has not been used THAT much but because the chopping and changing sums up our season and is just carrying on even when there has been a few signs of green shoots recently. He has spent more time arguing with refs recently than playing well. This season is so far off what we expected. Grrrr. One bad performance in Bern or bad luck from ref of which we have had plenty and it's excitement over for this year apart from Derby and Man U at home. I really want him to help us in European matches and would loved to have seen one decent goal celebration in front of me in the St End.

Looks like he has now gone, a lot of the younger players on Twitter and Instagram messaging wishing him good luck for the future.

It is a shame to see him go but we really don't need him. It is time to play Barkley in the No 10 position behind Lukaku. Move mountains to keep Mirellas, give McGeady a run on the wing. If McGeady does not measure up bring in a winger to balance the side. Time to build a team not just buy players.

Fair comment that, Everton is a club and a team, not just one big name.
Whilst sadly gone are the days of the Golden Vision, the Holy Trinity - look at how good the mid 80's teams were, all very good players, no standout superstar... we were a team !!

And replicating that is actually our best way forward because we won't have cheque book to buy superstars.

Ok yes he's gone now. Sadly, in my opinion. Now roll up your sleeves Martinez, get down to business and bring in a replacement. And a new CB while you're at it.

I think it is Kone's return to fitness tbh mate.
