Transfer Rumour Sandro Ramirez

Nonsense. He can play off both sides.

There\'s a difference between that and hitting off both sides.

Take a look at Sandro - he hardly touches the ball with his left foot.

With any luck Dave Dowell might get some minutes this season and of not willnat the very least be loaned out to a decent Championship club. I'm sure he will have a chsnce in ore season and early EL games to make an impression

I do think that if we do sign Ramirez (and I hope we do) ,that he will be our no. 9. Any other centre forwards we may then purchase could well be less exciting and more solid options. We would also have Calvert-Lewin to supplement our forwards.

Well I think your wrong mate. Sandro is very left footed but guess what Dave, we don't have an abundance of those type of players. I think Sandro would just be 1 of 3 front men we would be going for. I'm surprised as i tjought this type of player would be right up your street as in -

cheap and low risk
Had a good education at Barca
Good set piece taker
Looks like he's got a bit of fire in his belly
Can slot
I'm not violently against him, he has something. But I dont like seeing players so predominantly one footed. It's horrible to watch and a threat that can easily snuffed out by good defenders.

Probably fair to surmise with Sandro that he would ideally prefer to go elsewhere, though that clearly doesn't mean we are not a viable option for him.

No issue with the guy taking time to consider his options. He came over and met us and that is a mark of his respect for Everton as I see it and our offer. Unlike the merry dance we were led last season by Witsel.

Still well in this and just have to see how it unfolds. Based on everything so far, I think we can rest assured that the club have made every effort to persuade him to join us.

Hopefully though mate he's just one of a possible 3 coming in for the front positions

I think what we've lacked is options so I'm more than happy to see us looking to address that. I may not agree with every signing but i will get right behind them. I'm a massive Gylfi fan like you so I'm still hopefully either him or a player of similar quality will be on our radar.

Yeah I absolutely hated watching this lad play. Did you also Dave given your comment?

*sigh*

It's not all about hitting.

Go and look at how overwhelmingly Sandro plays off one side and then tell me Sheedy played that way. Sheedy could give and take with both feet.

It really is simple to understand.

So he's not coming then.......next.......

Was gonna do something that would be even more pertinent, @davek has been going on about how Dowell is someone we should be playing and it's a disgrace he hasn't etc, very strange opinion given that Dowell is as one footed a player as you will ever see

Oh dear. Go and take a look at his game mate. Do you see a player who is unable or unwilling to use his right foot?
