With any luck Dave Dowell might get some minutes this season and of not willnat the very least be loaned out to a decent Championship club. I'm sure he will have a chsnce in ore season and early EL games to make an impression
Prediction:

Dowell's best chance of playing for Everton is if Koeman leaves in the next 12 months.

Hopefully though mate he's just one of a possible 3 coming in for the front positions

I think what we've lacked is options so I'm more than happy to see us looking to address that. I may not agree with every signing but i will get right behind them. I'm a massive Gylfi fan like you so I'm still hopefully either him or a player of similar quality will be on our radar.
I would be amazed if we signed Sigurdsson.

Yep, a lot of that crap has to be replaced and we need them replacing with realistic targets and options.

From the little I've seen of Sandro and from what others have said, especially @barneygumble who has a season ticket and @bicycleheader who would have watched a lot of him with being a Barca season ticket holder, this signing ticks every box imaginable so I hope we get this one over the line.

I reckon I've seen every game he has played for Barca and at least a couple for the Bs, but I have to be honest and say I didn't see him becoming a La Liga hit in his first season away. He really jumped up a level. I thought he was a hard worker with a touch of class and a decent finish, but overall quite average.

Mind you it must be a lot of pressure for a young player coming into that front 3 off the bench. Munir didn't do so bad last season either and he wasn't great either at Barca.

I've said before, I would mostly be happy with the signing because we would straight up be signing one of the stars of La Liga last season, an in demand player. Not very Everton. Although I dunno what Everton is anymore after this week...

Nonsense. He can play off both sides.

There\'s a difference between that and hitting off both sides.

Take a look at Sandro - he hardly touches the ball with his left foot.

Dowell is like sheeds Dave, his right foot is used to stand in and that's about it. Everything is shifted to his left, it's a magical left like, but still.

More proof that I don't actually think you've seen Dowell play that often

Prediction:

Dowell's best chance of playing for Everton is if Koeman leaves in the next 12 months.
Dowell's best chance of playing for Everton is to produce consistently good performances for the under 23s, continue to work hard on the weaknesses in his game and impress in training. Just ask Tom Davies.
