Can you imagine a client of raiola not being able to exercise that clause? Still can't believe the RS got away with that and Henry publicly called out Arsenal over the bid.

My gut instinct on that one was always they called arsenals bluff, basically if the rs refused permission to talk to him then arsenal wouldn't know the value of the clause unless they'd made an illegal approach which is why player and club both backed off and didn't enforce the clause.
