Whilst there might be clauses, Atletico will not be in any way shape or form named as that would imply third party ownership of the player and that is illegal in the Premier League.

Now just chill and await the announcement is my suggestion

I am not saying he has a 40 Million release clause - just making a point that if there is a release clause or if there isn't why get worked up over something that you don't know the facts over. Ultimately if he helps Everton improve and possibly win a Trophy I am for it. Who know maybe he falls in love with Everton and sticks around. I am not going to beat the club up over signing a player that can help us improve if it means we have to insert a release clause to get him.

Discussing Everton and their utterly mad ways with transfers sometimes is defo guesswork.
