Oh dearie me... ignorance much?
Not everyone obviously ... question was “ why would anyone move here and not want work” that is a reason that some do. Not everyone, I’m an immigrant myself.

No. But he's pretty quick. The Santiago Sosa thread has been a more Current Affairs thread than most of the Current Affairs threads.
Who is Santiago Sosa anyway, does he have a great turn of pace?

Think you might have been living in Oz a bit too long mate.
Then you should know better than to make a statement like that, I imagine you would not like that said to you?Not everyone obviously ... question was “ why would anyone move here and not want work” that is a reason that some do. Not everyone, I’m an immigrant myself.
If we pay anything remotely like the fees that have been mentioned and go through all this rigmarole with work permits he can't be anything like Leandro Rodriguez. That seemed very much just a punt with no real downside. If we pay £15m for this kid there's an enormous downside, nobody back in Argentina will be matching his wages or paying big fees for him, so we'll basically be writing off £20m+. If the reports are true, I would assume they really think he's a proper catch, not just a shot in the dark. It's hard to shake the Leandro Rodriguez feeling, but if he comes here hopefully he'll do well.
Immigrants are more likely to be in work than British born people.

Maybe because they are raising children.I agree , the majority do, I’m an immigrant but the question was “ why would someone want to move to a country without work” that is one reason that some people do . Anyway back on topic .
Maybe because they are raising children.
Maybe because they are financially well off and don't need to work.
Maybe they have to go through an asylum or refugee process where they aren't allowed to work
Maybe they are retired
Maybe they come to study.
Maybe they are looking for work in a specific area they are qualified for
Just a few reasons off the top of my head that someone might want to move to a country without work.
thanks, it was easy!Well done . Anyway this doesn’t look like it’s going to happen does it? The transfer I mean
