Really? I had no idea. It just shows you how much the money has changed football. There's no way most teams from Scotland would be in a position to play teams like Barca, never-ending beating them

At the risk of appearing to blow a trumpet, Hibs were asked to compete in the first European Cup in 1955 losing in the semi although the campaign was less than arduous. I doubt they'll play in it again though there's every chance of the europa league.

Last time Hibs played Barca they lost 6-0 at Murrayfield over ten years ago in a friendly. A certain Messi was the star.

Well thanks. That would sound the death knell of Scottish football. Every club north of the border relies on revenue from Old Firm visits.
Occasionally, we manage to beat them too!

Apart from anything else, do you want those guys all over your towns and cities on a regular basis? We put up with it for the money!
