Did you make it all the way through?
I watched half so far.

They've staunchly seen off Rennes, Sporting and Torino. Bayern and Dynamo Moscow to come.

Waddell sounds like a thug, just like his successor Wallace. Johnstone came across like a prototype Sally McCoist. I warmed only to Dave Smith.

Good story, but I'm a sucker for any 1970s football stories.

I haven't seen McGeady play since the Celtic - Spartak game at Celtic Park a good few years ago, so I dont know if he has much left.

If he has, he could be an excellent signing for Hibs.

Yeah, first match of the season for me today , Buckie v Aberdeen in a testimonial for Spider Stewart , ex player and manager for last 5 years or so. Glorious sunshine, typical Buckie wind and for about 60 mins Buckie held their own. They opened the scoring with a cracking goal early second half , but got pegged back by a dubious penalty, then a Dons winner a few minutes from time a sweetly struck half volley past our 40 yearl old goalkeeper coach who’d come out of retirement for the last 5 minutes.
Best player on the pitch was the Dons young number 8 who turned out to be Connor Barron , he looks quite a talent. I suspect on that performance that Buckie will do better than Aberdeen in their respective leagues.

Pretty decent for a pre season friendly , lots of Dons fans, it’s always difficult to tell crowd size but I’d say around about 1000. New full back Richardson looked good for the Dons . We’ve got Ross County in that Premier Sports cup in a few weeks , it’ll be a good comparison.

He was an excellent player. Sometimes his end product wasn't up to the standards they should have been, but he was a very good footballer. If he hasn't lost it, he could be a great signing for Hibs.
I remember some of my Celtic supporting mates getting frustrated with McGeady wen he was there. I've not seen much of him since he left Celtic, but I agree that, if he still has some of the skill he had at Celtic, he's a good dining for Hibs and should be good enough to do a job in the SPL.

Having watched both of the Sunderland til I Die, series, he came across as one of the only ones, who actually cared and put a shift in.

Which, I must admit surprised me.

Just read this morning that Rangers are in for a young Everton player, Cameron Bell. Anyone on here heard of him yet? If so, what's the general opinion of him?
