Alloa 2 v 1 Morton
Well deserved 3 points for Alloa, wanted it more and fought for everything. Morton took the lead with a nice Chris Millar goal, but decided to sit back in the 2nd half allowing Alloa to attack in waves and although their goals were a pen and an OG, they deserved the win. Need to up our game for our Scottish Cup tie at East Fife next Saturday.

East Fife 2 v1 Morton
Well deserved win for East Fife as Morton depart the Scottish Cup with a whimper. A large section of the away support were calling for the managers head at full time. Hopefully he’ll get to bring some players in before the window shuts, if not, I can see us being caught up in the relegation scrap.
Been a few years since I've been to Bayview, but was there for every game as a kid and beyond before moving down south - the old Bayview, mind, which was a great place to watch a game... I've never really warmed to the new place. Anyway, pleased to hear you thought we were good value for the win. All the best for the rest of the season - I think you'll be absolutely fine. You're, what, 10 points or so clear of Falkirk/Partick?

Cheers @Daz1878 , we're 11 and 12 points ahead of Falkirk and Partick, but they've added about 12 players between them to their squads, we've added 1, who actually played very well today. Always call it as I see it and East Fife were not only the better team, but were well organised and more up for it, good luck in the draw for the next round.

An absolutely fantastic result today for Auchinleck Talbot v Ayr United in the Scottish cup.
Although Ayrs best player injured /rested before his big money move.
Also a notable mention to Stenhousemuir for their draw at Pittordrie or do that slip your mind Al?:)
I was in a local pub near the warriors ground last night and it certainly had the place buzzing, the whole town will be looking for tickets so we will probably see a couple of temporary stands as these days it is a two sided ground with about a 2000 capacity.

Wee Willie Henderson what a guy. Still fit at 75.

He was a cracking player back in the day, a nightmare to play against I would imagine as an ex-left back. I was at a race night about 5 years ago in a "Staunch" Plean pub and he was one of the speakers. He waxed lyrical about his time at Rangers, but also spoke about how friendly the Old Firm players were with each other, the complete opposite of the fans views or expectations. Lovely guy.
