He came to Hibs largely because of Neil Lennon but it was always going to be for a short time. Someone of his age wants a last big pay deal. Rumour has it he's Cardiff-bound so good luck to him.
Hopefully, Lennon's charisma and experience can attract another class player.
It needs to be stressed though that south of Celtic every team in Scotland including Rangers is a selling club.

Celtic are a selling club as well. Their plan is sign promising young players, improve them, then sell them on for a big profit.

What happened v Airdrie?
Kicking off everywhere?

It was on the Celtic forums in the days leading up to the game, that the Airdrie hooligans, I think they're called Section B, would be teaming up with the ICF, and other clubs hooligans, Sheffield Wednesday was one, I can't remember other, maybe Wigan?, and come looking for trouble.

There were photos of them being held by the police, in an area which has a few Celtic pubs.

I have no time for football hooligans. If everyone was like them, the game would be stopped, but if they want to meet other hooligans somewhere for a fight with even sides, like the Russians do, while I think it's moronic, it's really no skin off my nose, but what I've noticed about British thugs is they tend to run riot in pubs, and town centres, where it's just ordinary folk, doing some shopping, or fans in a pub for a pint before the game, and are definitely not there to fight anyone.

I wasn't at the game, but according to post on the Celtic forums, they tried their keech at the ground, and were on the end of a few second prizes, but, as I said, I didn't see it myself.

Section B was from their old ground just under the TV gantry.
Never new such a lower league club with a core of less than what a 1000 could have a hooligan element.
It wouldn't be hard to see them.
I'm sure celtic played them in a cup tie (league cup?) Celtic lost but had most of the new ground .
I'm guessing those hooligans were glad of celtic fans filling Airdrie's tills.

Remember it well from the old Broomfield stadium, Rangers fans without the train fare. They had a wee stand that looked like a house didn't they, actually liked an away day there.
