No. Stubbsy left Easter Road for reasons unconnected with football and I think it's unlikely he'd return. Anyway his record since has been woeful.
It's a shame as sentiment is a strong emotion and we all remember that day at Hampden.

He left to realise an ambition of managing in England as far as I'm aware. What was this non-footballing reason?

I don’t like the fella but he’s done a good job , I do think posted earlier in the thread though that you wonder if his management style of calling players out has a shelf life and maybe that’s what we’ve seen .

Have either of you two seen the latest in the Levein Micheal Stewart feud ? Levein certainly doesn’t seem to be Caring about offending anyone this season and has given Stewart both barrels again . These two hate each other that’s for sure .

Yes Harry saw that,Levein took the bait big style and made a right arse of himself IMO I was a bit shocked and surprised that he even bothered to comment on it, obviously couldn't help himself. I think Stewart is the smarter of the two and he doesn't really have to watch what he's saying, in fact his TV bosses would love it to escalate further as it makes good TV, Levein on the other hand needs to select his words a lot more carefully to avoid censure.

I’m not a fan of either although Stewart can be quite entertaining on the bbc without necessarily agreeing with him , if that makes sense ? Some of the rows on sport sound have been pretty entertaining.

Levein has always been someone who’s annoyed me but this not a single one given attitude he’s had recently has also been fairly entertaining as well .

So for both of them without liking either I’ve quite enjoyed them going at each other , it’s certainly not Been dull that’s for sure .

Plain and simple looks like he was just in a hurry to further his career, doesn't appear to be any non football reasoning here in fact he's complimentary of the Hibs boardroom team.

Family reasons. He was up here and his missus was back in England.

Exactly my thoughts Ton/Daz ,whatever it's about there's no coming back from this at Hibs for the likes of Lennon and it is a pity because he had been doing a good job on a shoestring and they've been unlucky with injuries and players being transferred out and if you saw his last interview yesterday, although I didn't suspect it would come to this, he was sounding frustrated and maybe things were building up behind the scenes.

Football eh? don't we just love it.

Would really like to hear our resident Hibs correspondant @Mikey_Fitzgerald for his thoughts, I'm sure he'll be gutted and maybe knows a little more on the matter.

I think the next move here Mikey will be very interesting for a number of clubs and may force a few hands, any thoughts yourself, I would obviously view his position now as untenable.

Do you think Steve Clarke would consider the job?

Hibs are traditionally a bigger club than Kilmarnock, bigger fanbase and financially better off, so possibly. I would like to see him stay at Kilmarnock as he is doing a great job there and might finally break the Old Firm champions monopoly.
