Seriously, i have celtic mates who call it the daily ranger tbh

Do you ever remember a journalist for The Record being thanked at a Celtic AGM?

The Record has to appeal to it's core readership, and Celtic supporters are hardly that. I haven't bought it since it's Thugs And Thieves headline about Celtic players after a players night out. If you seriously think The Record, and the BBC, who's Sportsound programme seems to be little more than a Rangers nostalgia trip for EBT recipients, are anti-Rangers then I would be interested to see which journalists, newspapers, media outlets you feel favour Rangers.

Just on the bbc haven’t they either been banned or banned themselves from post match interviews and selective coverage at Ibrox ? Tough to say they’ve got a close relationship in those circumstances.

Well, at the risk of stating the obvious, they sure as hell don't favour Celtic, and calling The Record The Daily Rebel is absolutely insane.

Like I said, maybe when a reporter for The Record is publicly thanked at a Celtic AGM for his services in helping the Celtic board, then it may apply, but until then I would describe it as rampant paranoia

Iirc, Rangers banned one of the BBC reporters, Chris McLaughlin, after he reported that the SPL match delegate was going to include sectarian singing amongst the Rangers fans in his match report.

The BBC decided they wouldn't send a reporter to cover Rangers interviews until they lifted this ban. Somehow, this has been twisted into the BBC have an agenda against Rangers, instead of Rangers are trying to bully the media into silence when it comes to behaviour of their fans, and players.

One of the Rangers fans spokesmen, Chris Graham, wrote on his site The Rangers Standard it was due to racism that the media up here focus on the behaviour of Fernando Morelos! So there you have it. It has nothing to do with Morelos kicking players off the ball, and even kicking them in the balls, or hitting a forearm smash into an opponents face. The media in Scotland, especially the BBC, are racist!

The slide tackle attempt to get the pen for Rangers' 4th shows just how utterly dung this league is.

I just turned over as they were showing a replay, and it looked like the kind of tackle you would expect to see in a Sunday morning fat bellies league game, but I'm sure if looked I could pick out abysmal tackles in every single league in England.

Yeh I'm sure you'll probably bother your arse to do that.

I don't watch anything like as much football as I used, and don't look at the English lower divisions, but. like I said, if I would be bothered I bet I could spotlight some horrendous play in any English league, even The Premiership. I wouldn't be so pathetic though as to pick out one incident, and claim it was symptomatic of the entire league.
