I would say that critics of Rangers were very disappointed, when the club adapted a more open minded approach to recruiting players. A stick that they loved beating the club with, was removed so to speak. Plenty of catholics signed for Rangers, before this supposed policy was enforced (it was more of a routine by accident that the club developed, than an official rule as such), and there have been plenty of catholics who have played for Rangers since, including irish catholics. It's no longer an issue, although i am aware, that there are plenty of people, who still want it to be an issue.
One step forward for at last admitting there was secterian behaviour in signing players, two steps back for the comment 'it was more of a routine by accident' Really? What a really poor comment that is of Ashtonian proportions.

I think we can officially say that its over. Even the most pessimistic rangers or optimistic celtic fan would probably agree.

Lennon won't be there next season, and maybe not next week.
Been over for a very long time to be fair, and surprised Lennon is still there, thought he may have gone weeks ago
