Billy Dodds at Caley.
Malky McKay at County (ross).
Not sure what to make of those appointments.
Think its Dodds 1st go,he's worked under enough managers I suppose.
Malky will always have the racist tag.

I always liked Dodds as a player, though it seems a lifetime ago since he was at Pittodrie. Caley’s a good place for him , expectations are not huge but a promotion spot is really a must in the next two years, then if he achieves that he’ll be set right for a shot at the top half,if he succeeds he’ll be rewarded with the Aberdeen job after Glass or be sacked as a failure and eventually end up at Alloa. Scottish football is tough eh :)

Always gave his best wherever he played did Dodds but too old for Alloa, they tend to give young coaches an opportunity such as Wee ned Barry the the present incumbent.

Highland League fixtures out, first game 24 th July . Brechin admitted into the Highland League, apparently they offered all 17 Lowland League clubs £1000 each if they voted to accept them . Result was 17 -0 rejection ! They’ve traditionally recruited from the Central Belt and the reckoning is they’ll lose a few players who wont want to travel so far north every fortnight.

Don't know where they're getting all the cash from, they've just recruited Craig Levein as director of football !

Indeed, Brechin don’t appear to be particularly well run over recent years but money from local businesses can often be available. There was an article the other day on Banks O’ Dee, the leading Junior team in the North, they’re planning on replacing their artificial pitch and said they’d invested £2.5 mill over the last 10 years from local businesses and in conjunction with the attached sports club. Like in any level of football, having money behind you is essential for any team wanting to reach the top.

Queen's Park make history by paying a transfer fee for a player for the first time. Signed Liam Brown from Edinburgh City for £40k think it was. He started at QP before going to Motherwell then Edinburgh City.
QP recently hired Leeann Dempster as Chief Exec. She did a cracking job at Hibs.

I predict a rise upwards for Queens Park which would be great for the history of the Scottish game.

Yes she's now Chief Exec. Think she'll do a good job for us as obv knows the job working previously with 2 Premier League clubs. Just needs to sort out the mess with Lesser Hampden so playing at Firhill next season or until Lesser is ready.

Hopefully can consolidate in League 1 next season then go for the Championship the season after. Do have the money now with the sale of Hampden, although thats going on building Lesser, and the money from Haughey for 10 years and with being full time can maybe get inot the play offs at least next season at best. Dont want to do a Gretna though!! Think the aim is to get into the Championship and stay there and see what happens. Also need to see who are going to sign. Hopefully most of the team from last season will stay although the loan players are away and 4 have been released.
