Corky, you can spin it all you like, but you know what actually happened. Celtic going from a privately owned company to a PLC is nothing like the club going out of business. Not one single person ever suggested Rangers were a different club when it went from being owned by various companies.

Don't you find it a tad strange that not one Rangers fans suggested Celtic were a new club when Fergus McCann floated the club on the stock exchange in 1994, but when Rangers went out of business in 2012 the newco supporters tried to claim Celtic were a newco as well, 17 years later! I mean there's being slow on the uptake and there's this.

Why do TRIFC fans keeps spinning this nonsense when they know it's nonsense? Who are they trying to fool? they know their club was formed in 2012 and had to apply to join the leagues? That there was a dodgy backroom deal to allow the newco to assume the identity doesn't mean Rangers liquidation didn't happen. It's just people in high places trying to pretend it didn't happen because of money.

Rangers went the way of Airdrieonians, its just that Airdrieonians weren't deemed important enough for people to spout the "You can't liquidate a football club, just the operating company" keech. You know this, I know this, and you know I know this, but you still say try and claim Celtic were reformed in 1994.
Spin it? CV you not worked out Corky just copies and pastes anything and everything off the Internet especially Wikipedia.
BTW a mate of mine sadly no longer with us was the most fervent Airdrie fan, STH and followed them about the country, as soon as they were liquidated he just stopped going said it would never be the same again, he became a member of the tartan army and followed Scotland around the world.

12 month contract? Nice to see the Celtic board are full of confidence in the lad
Tbf Lee and I stand to be corrected on this, I believe Celtic have had managers on a 12 month rolling contract for quite a few years now, personally I think it it is a good thing, saves useless managers becoming multi millionaire's in a short space of time ie Koeman and Silva to name but two.

That's why I reckon they came up with the "You can't liquidate a football club, only the operating company" bull.

Rangers and Celtic bring a lot of money into Scottish football, and I reckon people were afraid a lot of the Rangers support wouldn't bother going again if they were told it was a brand new club.

It was clear cheating. They just made up a rule, and ran with it.

It is very underwhelming, but ,who knows.
Yous might strike gold.
Personally if brooner does well up here,he's your man.

I must admit I'm not keen on appointing managers just because they used to play for the club.

Even if Aberdeen do well, Glass will be the number 1. Broony would have to be a number one at another club, and do well there, before I would even consider him

I honestly believe glass is the front for brooner.
Glass is mates with the current chairman.

Roll on the new season.

Well Celtic changed their corporate structures in 1994. The whole pacific shelf thing. So if we're going to take things that literally, then Rangers lasted longer.;) You left an open goal behind you there like.lol
Hahahahahahahaha there is clutching at straws and there is bumming the scarecrows head off. You've managed the latter there.

Celtic are well and truly in the rear view mirror now. 10 in a row? Don't think so.
