Well Celtic changed their corporate structures in 1994. The whole pacific shelf thing. So if we're going to take things that literally, then Rangers lasted longer.;) You left an open goal behind you there like.lol

lol

Corky, you can spin it all you like, but you know what actually happened. Celtic going from a privately owned company to a PLC is nothing like the club going out of business. Not one single person ever suggested Rangers were a different club when it went from being owned by various companies.

Don't you find it a tad strange that not one Rangers fans suggested Celtic were a new club when Fergus McCann floated the club on the stock exchange in 1994, but when Rangers went out of business in 2012 the newco supporters tried to claim Celtic were a newco as well, 17 years later! I mean there's being slow on the uptake and there's this.

Why do TRIFC fans keeps spinning this nonsense when they know it's nonsense? Who are they trying to fool? they know their club was formed in 2012 and had to apply to join the leagues? That there was a dodgy backroom deal to allow the newco to assume the identity doesn't mean Rangers liquidation didn't happen. It's just people in high places trying to pretend it didn't happen because of money.

Rangers went the way of Airdrieonians, its just that Airdrieonians weren't deemed important enough for people to spout the "You can't liquidate a football club, just the operating company" keech. You know this, I know this, and you know I know this, but you still say try and claim Celtic were reformed in 1994.
So Corky makes a stupid statement regarding Celtic and a financial restructuring that a lot of businesses go through of which he actually knows nothing about but has picked up on a propaganda forum along the way, he is challenged by someone who is obviously more savvy about these things and fully understands the fundamentals of it and explains it away in a reasonable and sensible manner, does Corky strike back with a counter argument, does he provide more evidence to back up his original statement? Does he wish to bamboozle us with some more of his remarkable understanding of corporate logic?

Celtic are well and truly in the rear view mirror now. 10 in a row? Don't think so.
Err no.

I watch a fair amount of Scottish football. My brother live in Kirkcaldy - town of Raith Rovers. The Rovers got to the play-offs but lost to Dundee in the semis. Dundee subsequently beat Kilmarnock and were promoted.

The SPL is not wonderful. I mean Jermaine Defoe at 50 is still able to chip in with them or some goals.

Have you ever danced in the streets of Raith?

Err no.
The irony is that the so called savvy expert you talk about has Rangers living inside his head, rent free 24/7.
