Saw the Celtic team news before and Jesus that side is garbo - when did they lose a few big names?

Edouard and Forrest aside didn't recognise a single name.
They've never had any big names for years mate, lots of cheap imports they're hoping to sell on for a profit and let's face it Joe Hart (If they do get him) has been on the wane for a long time and won't be an answer to their problems.

To be fair to Postecoglou, his record with the teams he has managed is very good. But by god walking into the old firm goldfish bowl, is a different kettle of fish entirely. You either survive and thrive, or fall to pieces in that sort of environment. At Rangers and Celtic, a manager is pretty much expected to win every game. That is a brutal environment for anyone to operate in.

Hearts are a disgusting club and very definitey part of the axis of evil. I remember reading a book about the early game in Edinburgh and how they did all they could to deny Hibernian space to operate and survive on sectarian grounds.

Utter 'kin rotters.
Utter garbage. Stop talking nonsense.
Hearts have won a game of football and your going on about sectarianism.
Maybe ask Alex Youngs family about Hearts.

I've watched Hibs and Hearts for nearly 60 years and thought I knew the history of Edinburgh football. I don't recall Hearts having mistreated Hibs in the early years.
Rather it was Celtic who attempted to put Hibs out of business by pinching all their players in 1893 or summat!

No, they pressurised the Edinburgh FA to deny Hibs entry to the association.

What's Alex Young's family got to do with it?

I'll ask Neil Lennon's family about Hearts instead.
In fairness Neill Lennon was on the receiving end of hassle, from certain elements of the Celtic support recently. Proof indeed that in Glasgow, you're only as good as your last game. In Glasgow even club legends can get thrown to the wolves. As i say a brutal environment to operate in. Imagine what a culture shock this is, to the new manager Celtic brought in from the other side of the planet.
