One of the stramgest things this year is the amout of times I've read we need a new RB, the modern game has gotten so mental that you can't even have a bad run of form before fans want you shipped out these days, it's utter madness. Coleman is not even 30 yet, he's had a bad year for injuries, I can allow for a run of bad form surely.

Coleman is 30 i believe mate.

His form has been poor for a while and our only backup is Kenny, so I understand looking for a new right back. Coleman still offers us a lot though.

Absolutely nothing wrong with the celebration or comments afterwards for me. It’s the type of response and attitude we should want from all our players.
In sports you don’t just need talent you need the will to win - mental attributes such a short determination, courage, aggression that will give you the edge over the opposition. We’ve had too many players recently devoid of these qualities and unwilling to stand up and be counted - Williams, Scheiderlin, Mirallas to name a few.
If anything, to me it shows Coleman actually cares.

and hes a proud captain!

Back to his usual self against Brighton which was great to see and didn't have much of anything to do defensively.

I understand he's not gonna suddenly develop the ability to put consistently good crosses into the box but it would compensate for that extra yard of pace he seems to have lost. Still though, not a player at the club better suited to being captain than this man and not many RB's in the league that you'd take over him.

I moved seats to the Lower Gwladys for the Soton cup game and my God it''s full of horrible moaning beaut's.

I'm Team Seamus on this
Something about fans who sit behind goals, the Park End is the same, just hope when we go the dock we have stands either side of the pitch and nothing behind the goals, that will teach them

I was made up when Coleman scored the 2nd goal as I thought that will shut the moaners up. His game never was about his crossing ability which was limited it was about him making an extra man in the overlap to pin other teams back. The way we play now when he overlaps he sometimes gets caught upfield. In his best seasons there were players who filled in where as we now don't get that as much. As for his celebration I think it shows how much it means to him to be contributing and wish more players would have such passion.

I thought he was pretty poor mate tbh. He seems to flatter to decieve for me. I said when we first signed him he would be our best player at that point but we've moved up a level now. I think he often makes the wrong decision, misplaces passes or goes missing. When he's good he's very good but he frustrates me a lot
Fair enough, he frustrates me at times, if I'm honest but that goes for most of the players, Walcott should score more and misses some one on ones, he is like a lot of wingers hot and cold: still thought he did okay on Saturday.
