Spot on this. Seamus has been a fantastic player and servant to the club over the years and people shouldn’t forget that. But it’s been blatantly obvious to anyone who watches Everton that we’ve been crying out for a RB for the past 3 years.

The fact Brands brought Sidebe in on loan 2 years ago suggests that he too is aware of the fact we’ve needed a RB for this period. How he’s not got one through the door before we kick off on Saturday is absolute negligence and in any other line of work he’d be out the door.

The fact Seamus will be our starting RB on Saturday is the fault of one man and I think people need to vent their frustrations at him over our captain who’ll be out there trying to get the win.

Seamus Coleman isn’t good enough for what we currently need or where we want to be. But he gives 100% every week and the fact we’ve got nobody in the squad capable of replacing him is not his doing.

Bayern Munich had zero interest in taking him.
 

Why can't we speak of very good loyal players that are passed it with respect. Very high up on my pet peeves on us Evertonians. And makes me more understanding when players jib us off. Same people do be outraged aswell when a player asks to leave.

Important to have in mind, if he does struggle early on in the season… it’s the incompetence of the club that will be to blame in it’s failure to replace him. As while you can bet Seamus will give 100%, sadly he his way past his best.

All these so called ‘loyal’ players have never had any better offers than us other than Baines.
 

It is beyond belief that we are still waiting for Brands to get a RB in since he got here. Seamus will give his all on Saturday like he does every game, but sadly his best isn’t good enough anymore and hasn’t been for sometime. Rather than people getting in Coleman’s back it’s Brands who needs the criticism.
 
God I hope he either scores or assists on Saturday. I’m betting we get someone in before the window closes (even if it’s only that guy Celtic is after) and having only been an Everton fan since last season, I just want to hear 60 grand come through on my TV from a packed Goodison just once.
