The problem with this incident is that he's rushed himself back for a friendly against England and nations league matches, He's just came back from injury and is no spring chicken anymore, I think he could have used his experienced and took a step back just for this time but it's happened now and not much we can do and hope the injury isn't serious because this lapse in judgement could cost us with Kenny or Godfrey being used at RB again.
He played last weekend chuck

I'm sure he would - but it's nothing we don't already know. We'll sell him for big money when the time comes, in all likelihood.

We can either be supplicants to players and their agents while they are with us, or we can set some standards and expect them to meet them. That's actually quite attractive to top professionals. I'm pretty sure Carlo has had a word in his ear. And I suspect the lad is bright enough to listen.
He’s literally our best player. He literally sets the playing standard for the entire team. He was well up for the derby and he got a stupid red because he was so charged up.

Richarlison isn’t a problem and we shouldn’t be risking pissing him off because we’re “just going to sell him anyway”

Ha ha, you make his sending off seem like an accident. It was utterly reckless - every bit as stupid as Pickford's, who was pilloried even by many of his own fans. You're right, Richarlison isn't a problem. His recklessness was. And to be honest, if he doesn't fancy it here because he can't take legitimate advice from his decorated manager, then I'm sure we'll cash in at a tidy profit. I like Richarlison, I think he's a good lad and a good player. But we've lost better players than him before and his form this season has been pretty patchy to say the least. That said, I think he's bright enough to learn from his errors. I just wouldn't be abasing myself or the club for him if he wasn't a quick learner.

We need to be looking to replace him TBH, he has been exemplary but his injurys are mounting up and he already had that terrible injury also. I think his time is done and we should be looking for alternatives for 2021-2022 but yeah Coleman was indeed mustard and he knew what it meant to wear the shirt

The lad is a born leader. Turned pro late his drive is unquestionable.

Just reference the Sky Sports footage this weekend where he discusses this passion for GAA. He is a lad living the dream who has remained grounded.

Utter nonsense to call for him to quit captaining Ireland. Not understanding the man at all.
It's not about quitting Ireland

It's about realising your not a young lad anymore and travelling for pointless Ireland friendlies when your not fully fit is stupid.

Everton physios declared him fit before he left.

My point is that injuries happen and I find it nonsense to call on players to forgo international call ups. Playing for your country is a driving factor for all aspiring footballers.

I'm not disputing he was fit, but having just come back from a hamstring injury he was 100% more susceptible to another hamstring Injury.

Everton pay his wages, in my opinion he should have been told he's staying at Everton given how light we are in that position
