Great cameo but let’s not get sentimental he’s really poor when starting most games especially against pace. Use him strictly as a sub or against really slow wingers
I think he needs to be moved back to an RW rather than RB, as shown last night. He was like the Coleman of old, looking to get forward and try something. When at RB he's definitely concerned about being the last man. Keep playing Godfrey / Holgate at RB and Iwobi/Coleman on the wing.

Brilliant dummy run from the right wing all the way overlapping on the left wing to draw out the Spurs defender, allowing Siggy to dink the ball over for Bernard. A bit of unpredictability helped us through that game last night.

Moved to rw?

We already have a feller who can play rw who runs around like a headless chicken and can't cross a ball, iwobi.

Coleman did sound last night but his days at this level are still up unfortunately.

Coleman may not be a great crosser from a RB position, but played further forward he plays the neat 1-2's well to get in behind and get to the byline for the drawback. He did this several times last night. Even if he gets a corner from it, we're in a good position to score on this seasons form.
Iwobi doesn't often get in behind the defence and will try and ping a ball from outside the box. I agree they're both woeful at crossing from that position on the pitch, but for me it's all about Colemans ability to get behind the defence that makes him a better forward player than a defensive one.

No he definitely shouldn’t play RW a good cameo means nothing. And my god the w*** fest on Twitter over his performances is incredible.

I Don’t know how anyone can think playing him right midfield for a few games is a good idea. Yes he came on and give his all, and maybe with the tried legs and stretched game, helped him. But the one time he got in down the sides, With plenty of time to pick out an Everton player, he side foots a cross , straight to a Spurs player. I suppose old habits are hard to break

Just can't understand how in yesterday's match thread some folks said he didn't make any difference after came in.

The guy had got his leg bent like a twig and now he still runs like crazy, offering himself for a pass, sharpening the game, pressing the enemy - hell of a player.

Won't deny he had bad days too, but who hasn't? He could be a very useful substitute, moral and energy boost for the team.

Amazing lack of respect in here for a player who has given his all every time he has been on the pitch. Oh and before anybody makes any sarcastic comments I am fully aware you need more than effort and commitment.

He's been a hell of a player for us over the years and also seems like he is a cracking person. Will miss him not being about once he leaves.

You really only appreciate Coleman when he's not there - the sign of understated class
Said it before, he's got a lot left to offer this team if he plays RM, in between RB and RF.

Its been said that Godfrey doesn't suit the right but think that might have more to do with Iwobi in front of him.
Put Seamus in front of him and James the go to and you've got a good mix of skills and mentality up and down there.
Their weaknessess are the others strengths
And Doucs, Davies and Iwobi or Douc, Davies and Coleman - itsa no contest.
