I was nervous after his first few minutes because he looked like he was off the pace, but he grew into the game and provided some solid minutes for us when we really needed it.

He looks better as a wing back or a right mid, less responsibility. He’s a good footballer and he can defend from th front. I think Carlo may use him in this role.

He looked good running at tired opposition when he was fresh. Let's not get too carried away. He always tries his heart out though and definitely still has a place in the squad.

I'll be honest, I thought Ancelotti was making a big mistake when I saw Seamus Coleman coming on against Spurs yesterday. But wow, he really injected some pace, passion, and energy into the game when the rest of the lads were understandably starting to tire. Sometimes the rest of the team need a player to come on and perform like that to make them realise that the race isn't run and they also have a bit more in the tank to offer and turn things around.

Best I've seen him play in a long long time. Commented recently that he had no place in regularly starting for us and I do stand by that, but I really enjoyed the role he played when he came on. He caused them some major issues with his running and willingness get behind the full back. Could be a role to exploit more of in future when opponents are tiring.

Great performance from him tonight. He was all over the place! Happy to run at his opponent and happy to roam across the pitch, provided much more threat than Iwobi and linked play well. Well done Seamus

....I still think he’s got a lot to offer and as far as I’m concerned he’s the best RB in the club. Terrific cameo last night, but I most loved his reaction sitting on the sideline when DCL scored. He jumped up and reacted like any of us would’ve jumped up and reacted. Everton winning football matches matters a lot to him.

I still like Coleman lots.
