Said this before and will say it again. I believe this wing back position, with half hour or so left, is his role now. Brilliant when he come on.

I agree
Wing back is his best position now. and he can be an informal captain whenever he's on the pitch. I think a better all around RB in a 4 is for us, and then when we play 3-4-1-2 he can play half the games at wing back, or for 20-30 mins sometimes

Yes definitely, I think he’d have more of an impact coming on as a sub in this role, rather than start. But then again after his performance for half hour yesterday, compared to iwobis hour. It’s a no brainer.

After enduring Iwobi's non performance he should have started.
I agree however, I think he’d actually be more effective as a sub, I don’t think he’d have the legs to perform at that level for 60 minutes (the length of time iwobi got) May well find out Friday against arsenal though.

Coming to the end of his career as a player. Hope he's given the respect he deserves by some of the "fans" who don't understand the notion of dedicated service.

In the meantime, I agree with the above. Impact sub at RWB for 20 or 30 minutes.

Everton have started talks with defender Seamus Coleman about a coaching role when his playing days come to an end. The 32-year-old Republic of Ireland right-back's deal runs until June 2022. (Liverpool Echo)

Instil that winning mentality throughout the club!

....I think we already have too many ex-players on the coaching staff but I’d have no issue with Coleman remaining at the club.

I know how highly regarded he is at international & club level, Ancelotti is on record as being a huge admirer. No idea why some on here continually undermine him but I suppose we‘re all entitled to have opinion.

The back header for the penalty not given is the same mistake he is making week in, week out. Put it out for a corner every day of the week.

The chance for Martinelli at the end was criminal for a player of his age to make such a basic mistake.

I reckon the determination he showed to become a pro footballer is an example to everyone. Will he be a good coach? If he shows the same passion then probably yes
