....I think we already have too many ex-players on the coaching staff but I’d have no issue with Coleman remaining at the club.

I know how highly regarded he is at international & club level, Ancelotti is on record as being a huge admirer. No idea why some on here continually undermine him but I suppose we‘re all entitled to have opinion.

Would be ideal in a Fans Liason / Community role.

Dynamic determined and direct player. Would die for the shirt. How anyone can dislike him is beyond me.

I like the man just don't think the player is good enough any more. Its like Baines there was still moments of class in there but we need players who can produce more than the odd moment of class. I would love him to decide to retire this season and take a place as a coach if that's what he wants to be. If he still thinks he has something to offer as a player we should find him a club for a couple of years and hopefully he'll get his badges and we can find him a place in our set up when he finally hangs his boots up.

Player/coach role next season if we can get Aarons. His footballing intelligence is good, and could certainly coach our full backs, although maybe not on blocking crosses!

Its testament to how good he is that id be happy if we spent £30m on Aarons and he turns out 90% as good as Seamus has been for us.
Done well again last night, even though he lost half a yard after the injury he's still a very good man marker against top level wide players.
Lacks the verbal clout to rip into players when they need a kick up the ass, and thats the only thing that annoys me about the lad (that and the dodgy distribution at times, but his assists and goals record over the years for poor everton sides has been decent)
