Absolutely love Seamus. The grief he’s been getting isn’t deserved. He’s been a wonderful servant who clearly sets a standard.

Leaders can all lead differently. He is a leader. He’s a top top bloke.
Top post. Seamus seems to be picked on for almost anything on this forum. Another example of how many posters on this forum do not represent those in the actual ground. I for one will forgive him anything. If we had another 10 players like him we would be mid table at least. So back off.

For Christs sake he's an Everton legend who should be retired by now but for the failings of our board. He's forced to play and thankfully once more he came up with the goods tonight. Talk about kick a war horse when it's down.
We should definitely show him at least half the loyalty he's shown Everton. He will be bowing out soon, we should get behind him until then. It's obvious the players respect him too and he always gives 100% even if sometimes that's not enough

Seamus has been a great servant to the club, it's not his fault that he is still first choice. He keeps going on willpower and adrenaline these days and is often found out. His tackle last night, however, may galvanized us in the same way that Pointer Pip's did against United. I love Seamus, but I really hope this is his last season as first choice, let us remember him for what he was, not what he is now.

It would be a great way for him to bow out if he led us to safety and lifted the FA Cup. Unlikely I know, but, what a fitting end to a great career.

I’ve criticised Coleman a lot the last few years and this is mainly for his ability, not his commitment. First ball he has to control out the sky last night he kicks straight into touch.

Yes I know he had a hand in the goal Amd it was a great challenge on ASM

And again last night, fantastic result. But let’s not forget the first 80mins when we hardly created anything. Him and iwobi were poor down the right. That episode when none of them wanted to cross the ball or even make a run, to open up space. Eventually a cross field pass went out of play.

People praising him and the likes of Keane. But the last 30mins was like an ancelotti performance. Sitting deep and just concentrating on defending, hardly any possession. We’ve seen how these players can do this. I’ve said for years now we have players who are better without the ball.

Thought he was mostly poor for the majority of the game, kept giving the ball away by playing nothing balls back to Newcastle. That said, his tackle for the goal was boss. Good result last night, hopefully we kick on from it.
Rather than poor i just think he was told to just stay back and defend and not venture forward. When he goes too far forward he gets exposed.
