Then maybe "Frank", as you name him, does not know what he is doing, because he keeps on picking a player who keeps tripping over his own feet and can't cross ball. Is that what you are suggesting? Either "Frank" knows what he is doing and is picking Coleman on merit, or he is a clueless git, who keeps picking Coleman even though he keeps tripping and can't.... (Whatever you have written).

Now you seem really confused or just not able to keep up with the twisted logic of your own.

Which one is it Kirkdale? Is "Frank" good or is "Frank" bad? Remember whichever option you choose, your understanding of football is worse than "Frank's" as YOU mentioned.
"Frank"?!?!?!

You're embarrassing yourself here mate. You arl woman.

Your man Coleman is an awful player right now its as simple as that. He might be a lovely fella, means nothing when the whistle blows.

Its fans like you that hold us back. Sentimentality, jobs for the boys, "gets us".

Personally cannot wait till he hangs them up ?

And yet again we’ll have to agree to disagree.

And less of the sexism please.

If he starts the first game next season then we know our club has failed yet again. Obviously don't advocate to sell him (nobody is going to shell out for 34-year-old Coleman) but he needs be to made club captain with the match day captain being, in my opinion, Pickford. Coleman, Baines, Cole. If those three can't turn Mykolenko and Patterson into star Premier League full backs they've got no hope in this country.

Hmmm. I guess, logical and rational thinking might not be your strong point. Neither does deduction, but hey not everyone has them so you are not alone.

Let me enlighten you if I can. "Frank" is in response to your calling the manager "Frank", as if he is your pal, chum. He is not, right!!! You did get that, I fervently hope, otherwise, just add sarcasm to the list of things you are not really strong at ....

You still are not getting the point that I am making, are you (Hence logical deficiency). You keep on harping about how awful Coleman is but you don't respond to my queries when I ask you if "Frank" (Now, I hope you get it) keeps on picking him for almost every match, then either he (Lampard) is an idiot and you know better than him or you are clueless and the manager knows better than you. Which is it Kirkdale? I hope that was simple enough for you to understand.

As to trying to hang the "fans like you..." drivel at my name, that is a really, really pathetic attempt at obfuscation. You don't seem to have anything logical to respond with, hence resort to "fans like you...". Coleman keeps on playing because the club has not replaced him, definitely not his fault. Manager after manager keep picking him over other options, surely not his fault.

Somebody did mention that it would be pointless to argue a point with you, I now see the wisdom in that comment. I will still try though....

And what's this "You arl woman." Not being a naturalized British citizen, I seriously don't get it. Is it supposed to be an insult to be called a woman? If that is so, I am actually honoured to be compared to a woman. You are a man, I suppose, or woman or whatever you identify yourself as, I can assure you there are lots of women football supporters more knowledgeable and eloquent about football than you, mate...

Have fun... and hope you have a good day

How long was he sleeping with your missus for?

Its his fault he keeps tripping over his own feet and can't cross a ball, yes.
He never really could cross a ball, even at sligo years ago, but he's ok at getting to the touch line and pulling it back or winning a corner.
If you're being really picky, he's not great at crosses and it infuriates me when we slow everything down on the right so he can take a throw in backwards.
But that's about it. He had Zaha in his pocket in the palace game. He's still a great defender who can offer something going forward. He's a club captain who absolutely loves Everton, He doesn't have another team, just Everton. He's given it all, time and time again. I dread to think where we'd be today if we didn't have him as captain.
I'm sure it was tempting for Lampard to play Patterson but he got what Coleman brings and he was proved right in the end.
Seamus Coleman is an Everton legend, and I'm very hesitant to use that term for someone who hasn't won a trophy.

Coleman gets picked, he plays. Probably aware more than anyone that his time should have been up as a first choice right back a few seasons ago. But he's been first choice for each manager, and we've had a few. This may well be because the alternatives have been such utter tosh that he's the only option left and this is undoubtedly unacceptable for a club that should be chasing silverware. But we can apply this all over the pitch for this current Everton team. The one difference however is that Coleman gave us hundreds of games where he was one of the best right backs in the Premiership. That's why we can question his selection but not question his right to be respected by this fanbase.
