Interested to know where you would put punctuation to make that post readable?
I have to say I have been very good friends with all the people. I have seen that (particular?) mate (I have been a good friend for the last two weeks, now), so no worries. If we can do that, though, I will probably need to get the hard drive back from the old one (from???) the best mate, so I will have a good watch with my wife and dad for the night.

You'd need to know the context (which I couldn't be bothered looking up), and I've had to add, or omit, the odd word, but this is my best guess. To be fair, and as you imply, a room full of Alan Turings would struggle with that lot.

I wasn't implying anything about the post, it was clearly intended to be absolute gibberish.

Probably not just Everton fans but just the way society is now. The lack of any tangible success encourages people to just tar every player with the same brush. Coleman gets mentioned in the same breath as Kenny and nobody bats an eyelid. If we'd had a team all playing at Coleman's level at his peak we would have been challenging for trophy's every season. But we didn't and that's not his fault. We now don't have a single player who is even remotely at that standard week in week out. That is why we are languishing where we are. Get a team together who have his desire and application and then we might start climbing back up the league and become less of a laughing stock for rival fans and the national media. I'm hoping that's exactly what Frank was referring to when he spoke of Seamus's qualities. You can see the emotion on his face when Frank praises him after the match in front of the squad. He loves this club and has delivered us performances in spades. Let's save the criticism for players who couldn't give a stuff whether they play for us or not and are just happy collecting their inflated wages while hiding in plain sight during every match.

I agree with that. But i hope now the accolade to him from lampard was a sort of goodbye. Never said a bad word against him but im as guilty because of sentiment. The 2nd goal against palace was a reminder you cant be misty eyed.
Still not going to say a bad word as he has been fantastic for this club.
But its time.

Hopefully we continue to not see what Coleman does and it remains behind the scenes.

….when posters on here have criticised his role as captain, I have often posted that fans don’t really know a captains worth. Captains don’t have to kick opponents up in the air, shout at teammates and get down a referees ear. Labone didn’t, Ratcliffe didn’t and they were the most successful we had.

I don't criticise his role as a captain - he's definitely a top lad and a top Blue - I criticise his role as a perennially limited footballer who is, on top of his limitations, now aging and should be a backup at best, really, as he's costing us more points than winning them.

Also they don't have to, but it'd be nice to stop being the good guys for about 3 seconds - imagine the team's captain getting poked and pushed in the face in the Derby, which would lead to our advantage should he actually do anything about it, but... he doesn't and just goes "oh no it's okay these things happen". Nah mate, not having that.

James (Rodriguez, not Tarkowski... yet) did it brilliantly by getting someone sent off for the smallest poke in a nothing game - imagine having an advantage against the RS for a change, instead of the exact opposite. Because that's what everyone in the league, quite literally everyone, does, but we're "the good guys™" so it's against the rules if we do it.

…which is fair but I think he still has plenty to offer. He never got exposed against Zaha in that massive game, often getting his body across the attacker & let’s never forget, it was Zaha that fouled him for the vital free kick from which DCL scored.

I’m always happy to see him playing.

I share the emotion for that but only if he's a backup and comes in occasionally - he can remain and do his thing behind the scenes (and hopefully not stay past that as a 'coach' ffs) and come in when asked, but not be a starter.

And yeah as I said - he's cost us more than earned, not earned nothing lol I'm one of the people that have been criticising him for years at this point, but I'm okay with eating the occasional humble pie lol

For all of that with Zaha I also remember Shane Long bullying him a few games beforehand, people running past him, him forgetting how to pass 5 feet, crosses with no pressure going massively out as he just hits and hopes most the time, etc....

Needs to hurry up and retire or leave. We are way to sentimental with players because of loyalty...he's not on minimum wage like. Thanks for the service and replace. Keep thinking like a nice family club and see how far it gets us. He's been crap for years and you all know it.

At the end of last season, approximately his 10th, for one reason or another he was still the best right back at the club, it’s never been his fault that every single manager in his time has picked him,
What he has done is obviously conduct himself really well and has clearly showed leadership qualities off the pitch hence the reason he became captain,
It’s clear to see that he isn’t the player he was, but I’ve got nothing but admiration for Seamus, it will be a sad day for me when he’s no longer there.
There have been a boat load of charlatans at the club during the last decade and he’s not one people should be aiming their pot shots at IMO.

Be a great day when he leaves as his mistakes cost us points and points keep us earning money. Needs replacing and I can't wait to see he back of his stupid cut backs when he can float a ball in the box. Personal level he seems like a top bloke but businesses hire for you ability and productivity... enough said.
