….still ahead of Kenny and a very decent back-up to Patterson.

Whilst accepting his best days are behind him, I also think he gets undeserved stick. He’s ok, indeed I worry more about others more than him when I see the team sheet.

it doesn’t help any defenders when there’s no out ball. As a striker you work the line and show for full backs so they have somebody to hit, you actually don’t mind balls booted into space because you feel you can turn the situation into something. You get none of that with Rondon.

I actually think he puts in really good games whenever he seems fully rested (maybe not so much this season?)

His bad performance really come as he piles on game after game, he’s just getting on.

Back up to Patterson, maybe playing the harder sides and then missing 1-2 games.

Thanks to you I clicked 'show ignored content'.

Smirked, chuckled at the stupidity and then just half spat air as the realisation dawned that he may be serious.

Imagine playing someone with no ability on the ball or positional sense in midfield.

Imagine him and Allan as a midfield 2.

The School of Science has reopened.

I have no respect for your assessment of any player.

You probably wrote Carsley off.
To be honest I loved Carsley. I also was about 10 when he played though so my opinion would have been pretty irrelevant

Coleman is a full back and will continue to play there. He will not play every game because his body no longer allows him to.

He showed zero quality on the ball yesterday and just hoofed it away as soon as he got it. His legs have also gone. The idea he could play midfield is pretty laughable and I assume a wind up.

Just let him play where he always has played. Rotate him with Patterson and help prolong his career. Watching him put in these performances due to being overworked is not fun for anyone.

Carsley was the man, one of my favourite players ever. We let him go at least a season too early.

I don't understand what's going on with Coleman. He's slow, been unable to beat a player since 2016 and he turns even slower than Harry Maguire. He shouldn't be playing end of story. It's embarrassing.

He was ok yesterday in an unusual posiyion for him. I agree he still has a role in the squad. There's literally every other defender deserving stick where their ability has long been called into question before getting knives out for Seamus. Godfrey is not a CH and never will be as he can't head a ball. JJK is not good enough, Holgate useless, Keane wobbly....Just hoping the 2 new lads are up t the job.
