If that fraud Ferguson is handed *legnedary* status then this lad Coleman is a God and needs a statue made of him.

I don’t get you sometimes Dave. You wrote Baines off as a club icon because he’s never won a trophy, yet Ferguson has won a trophy and when someone calls him a club icon you dismiss him in favour of Seamus Coleman who’s won absolutely naff all and never come close?

He played a few minutes in a cup final that was already won.

Agent Johnson mate .....
Agent Ferguson.

Sent off a number of times and left us down to 10 men. He could just about get himself up for a game.

It's a good job we had Farrelly in that game against Coventry or we'd probably be in the National League right now.

Of course, because an FA Cup campaign is 1 game.

Coleman hasn’t played a second in a trophy winning team either. Been here longer and played more games than Ferguson, played with better players.
1 goal he scored in that campaign - a goal when the game was already won when we beat Norwich 5-0.

Watson, Rideout, Stuart, Limpar, Jackson and Amokachi all eclipsed the Galloot in that cup run.

Neither did Baines. Dave’s criteria has always been they have to have won a trophy to be considered a club icon, that’s how he got around dismissing Baines. Now suddenly Coleman is randomly one.
I'm confused - is Ferguson a club legend because of a cup winning medal or not? Whats the criteria?

Is he more of a folk hero - such as Hibbo ?

And? He still won a trophy and a Coleman hasn’t? I thought that’s the only way we could judge Everton legends?

It is. And he was a passenger in the cup run and therefore is as much a legend as Coleman.

Bobby Gould won an FA Cup medal as a player, and a manger. Didnt get on the pitch in either game. (I have seen his West Ham one. It was massive)

If you hang on a couple of years we’ll be there any way with this clown still in charge!
