2021/22 Seamus Coleman

1 goal he scored in that campaign - a goal when the game was already won when we beat Norwich 5-0.

Watson, Rideout, Stuart, Limpar, Jackson and Amokachi all eclipsed the Galloot in that cup run.
I don't consider Seamus Coleman or Duncan Ferguson to be Everton legends. But as players, I have more time and respect for Coleman than Big Dunc. Although the big man did score some memorable goals against the likes of Liverpool and Man Utd, he was ill-disciplined and his actions often left his teammates in the crap.

There's no comparison mate.

I hope Seamus goes on to get as much money out of the club that the galloot has pulled in for the past decade as a cone layer.

Really sickened by the abuse Seamus has received, he hasn't been anywhere near as bad as Keane, Godfrey or indeed Digne when he played but yet he gets totally hammered by some supporters, his long term replacement has been found it isn't our his fault it took so long.

Since his horrific injury he hasn't been the same but by no means finished, can still do a job, I wouldn't be surprised if he actually plays the odd game centrally in a back 5, Ancellotti used him there and he has played recent games there for the Republic. If young Patterson turns out to be near our as good as Seamus he will have had a fine career..

Put Coleman in with howard and Baines. Great servants to the club who were kept in the team despite showing significant decline in their performances and supporters turned against them.

It’s poor form to subject him to this to be fair but we have had better results this season in the games he hasn’t featured in. The club are at fault for allowing this to happen. I would never boo him he always gives 100% probably giving too much and getting emotional which isn’t helping, But his ship has passed unfortunately. He has done remarkably to carry on playing following that horrific injury which would have finished most players careers.

He’s like the family dog that you keep around, despite him hobbling round knocking on deaths door, when it’s obvious they need to be put down.

That’s an analogy btw, I don’t think his performances require him to be killed, although I feel like I am dying a slow death when watching him play.

Defensively, I'd rather him in on the right side of back three instead of Holgate at the moment. Don't like his hoofing of the ball though.
