Patterson will be fine

Get him a pre-season under Dyche and keep him healthy, and he'll be ready for next season

Not a single doubt IMO
I think it is quite possible you will see Seamus and Patterson play together on the right of Everton’s team with Patterson playing ahead and covering Seamus up and down the right wing, before the end of this season.

That's something I suggested a few times. He can replace a tiring Iwobi for the last 15-20 minutes if need be.

It's the only task you could give that lad.

Keep him well away from the defence.

“ Keep him well away from the defence”. You don’t even have to tell that to Iwobi, he blags his way through any defending and kids loads of fans at the same time. I think you under rate Patterson and I don’t know what you think of Iwobi,I don’t have to you what I think of him but I know you wouldn’t be interested anyway.

Iwobi has as many assists as anyone in the PL this season. Him and Coleman are fine over on the right.

Little bit of context is needed, Iwobi only has one assist from right wing against leeds, the other 5 five were from his preferred central position. The rat was on the wing before departure with either Patterson or Coleman as right back. Iwobi spread is equal with either starting thus far.

He still does a job for us wherever he's played.

So common etiquette would suggest you either prove it or apologise. But I guess this is the Internet so you'll not .
Coleman thread fella. I’ve posted all your comments on Patterson in the Patterson thread and you shortly after got banned from the thread. Says it all.

On topic. Coleman doing well recently. As I’ve suggested several times in the site, Patterson should be playing as a right winger for a while as long as coleman continues to keep up performances to get Iwobi back in the centre.

Stop telling porkies. There's nothing I've ever said against Patterson that compares with what has been said here about Coleman. I've no idea why I and others got banned from that thread but that matter is closed and we all move on.

But Patterson as a forward? I can't recall much output from the fella. Does he have many assists etc?

No doubt Coleman is an excellent stand in and perfect mentor for any aspiring young right back.
We dont have anyone of that description at the club.

If we stay up Dyche will move for a RB this summer. There's no way he's going to be relying on Coleman retaining his fitness.

He'll want Coleman to be a back up next season and bring in an experienced but younger first team starter who can defend and get up the line if need be.

Maybe if S'ton go down someone like Walker-Peters could be snapped up. 25 years old and a couple of seasons experience in the PL.
