We dont have anyone of that description at the club.

If we stay up Dyche will move for a RB this summer. There's no way he's going to be relying on Coleman retaining his fitness.

He'll want Coleman to be a back up next season and bring in an experienced but younger first team starter who can defend and get up the line if need be.

Maybe if S'ton go down someone like Walker-Peters could be snapped up. 25 years old and a couple of seasons experience in the PL.
What is shocking is that the club should have been addressing the “ young right back “ issue at u18/21 years ago. We’ve not had a pure right back come through since Jonjoe Kenny , trying out a number of converted midfielders hasn’t worked, and our current best right back prospect ,Roman Dixon, is only 18. We should have bought in at least one teenage right back years ago .

Hoping we survive , maybe Southampton don’t so we can nab Walker -Peters is a bit optimistic, although they’d probably let him go as they have a better right back in the injured Tino Livramento.

How much would he cost?

Agree about Livramento.

If southampton go down I'd fancy James Bree. Super player.

I absolutely have loads of respect for Seamus as I think he’s been outstanding at times this season. I see whilst training for country he now has a thigh strain. I wish he would give up international football and concentrate on Everton. These injuries appear to happen on international duty. It boils my piss tbh.
I know he loves playing for Ireland but he needs to be realistic on prolonging his career.
I know I’m selfish like but Everton should come first.

Does this apply to all players of a certain age ?
Like Messi or Ronaldo. Or what's the criteria

They don’t play for Everton mate!!!!!
No joking apart, Seamus has has a few injuries that last couple of years and should think about who pays his wages. Like I say I’m probably being selfish but our need is far greater at the moment.
