Id give him a one year extension...under normal circumstances.

However the (lets call them) 'Coleman before Everton group' would stop posting about imaginary greatness if he moved on so im torn.

Weve seen Garner thrown in and give a performance Coleman hasnt mustered in 5+ seasons. Also Patterson this year being in the top 3 of motm votes every game.

What would you do? Send him off with a bottle of champagne like @Nymzee or applaud him for motivating the players to fail every season and give him a mint?
Not sure about Patters being "motm" every game, hes had some alright games, but for me, Coleman has been better.

For that reason, I would gladly give him another 12 months, it depends how he is recovering from his latest injury.

But I think his performances this season have warranted an extra 12months.

Maybe you missed his match winning goal versus Leeds? Come back to me when Garner has done that.

I think agajnst City, Brighton and Leicester Patterson (and Garner) was voted in the top 3 players chosen as motm.

Because Coleman scored a goal in a game...to me it doesnt put his overall performance above a player who was superior but didnt score a goal.

You could also say Colemans contract was running out and he magically put in his best season in many years...though i think thats harsh.

Garner also gave a performance we haven’t seen from Patterson ever. Stop going on about him in top 3 motm if he was 25/26 he wouldn’t of been in there it’s only that he’s young he gets a favourable vote. You’re obsessed with stats they don’t show the full picture of things I last an hour in bed most women would probably like the sound of that doesn’t mean I’m any good for that hour 😂

what a heap of steaming crap!
Given the last two seasons, no one on here deserves to be labeled an 'x player above Everton' type.
Garner played one game as a wing back, further forward than Coleman. And at that, Coleman has had an outstanding season given the state of the team.
He's been way better than Patterson and I'd imagine probably better than Garner playing at full back.
He's invaluable, especially if Pickford gets flogged to spurs.

Yeah I have no idea where he was chosen as top 3 motm.

But it means very little to me.

And thats very harsh, Coleman has always given everything.
