Ah right, guess I've got you mixed up with the 234 posters on here who slag him off whenever he gets on the pitch!

He's obviously not as good as he used to be even 2-3 years back but he's not a complete disaster any time he's on the pitch and he showed it today.

Can only imagine the abuse if he'd passed like that for Southampton's goal like Gana did under no pressure.

They just want something shiny and new.

It's pitiful.

As an American I fondly remember the times I could only get Ireland/Everton on the Spanish channel and he was referred to as “Cole-E-Mon”. Solid performance. From unknown youngster breaking in to slotted starter to reliable veteran backup and leader. Epic career. Bainesy surely smiled today.

He’s 33 mate, his days of bombing up the wing are long gone. His role now is to come on and hold the fort, which he did. Some of our fanbase are far too harsh on great servants when they are on the slide. All we can expect from him is that he does his best and thats what he did today. And with regards the headed clearance, he didnt know Pickford had it covered, so his clearance warrants a huge amount of credit.
