He's got it back. He's the skipper and he's the number one RB at the club. Patterson filled in for him and did very well in the last 3 games of the 7 he played.I think before his injury that Nathan Patterson was the number one right back at this club, but Seamus now has an opportunity to win his shirt back.
If Seamus keeps playing well, then it would be unfair to drop him when Patterson is fit and raring to go again. It's all up to Seamus now i think, if he fails to avail of this opportunity, then he can have no complaints when he's put back on the bench again.
If Seamus has a howler of a couple of matches or gets injured then Patterson is back in.
But the senior man and experienced player is going to slot into a more solid back four unit than we had last season and it will be difficult short of injury to dislodge him.
