Do you not see my point if we are likely seeking his appointment at any time is probably because we're not doing well as a club.

….a vacancy here doesn’t necessarily mean the club are doing bad. Lampard might be a success here over a number of seasons & he could be courted by a top side or by England.

Regardless, I think the point being made is Coleman is a likely type to go into the managerial ranks & who knows he might even manage Everton one day. Very unlikely to happen, total conjecture.

Dave-Kay wrote off Patterson after 45 min in a dead rubber in the cup and then kept spewing some crap about how he hasn't played because he's bad and Coleman's keeping him out while the kid had an operation and didn't step on a training pitch for about 4 months and Coleman was crapping himself on the pitch on a game-by-game basis.

I do like Patterson, think he will be really good for us. The chance for him to develop under Coleman is gold for him.

Yes and no - Coleman's a great role model as a personality, but very limited in his skill, so hopefully he gets a bit of both (and also Baines and Cole as coaches of course).
